These particular clocks were recovered from a Mister Burton Sanderson’s backyard in Alameda, California during the summer of 1965. The previous owner of the house had been an enormous man with “fiery eyes” and a “breath of sulfur” who told neighbors that he had been “fired from his job” and used to “live on top of mountain and was able to transform into anything”. Soon after the crash of 1929, the enormous man disappeared, leaving all of his possessions piled high in the backyard.
