Dreadful Durian! I could not escape the smell of those things: people sold them off their trucks, and the smell was everywhere. One of the people in my group carried one around in his backpack for his day, and the scent was seared into his backpack forever. They’re not allowed on the Singapore Subway, but people still love them. Check out these pictures: a dumpster full of Durian skins, a stand in Singapore where you could get Durian and eat it at a table with your pals, and a stack of Durians at a market in Malaysia.
